The best games of 2020 – Let’s discuss

While 2020 has been overshadowed by the ongoing pandemic, on one hand, gamers were delighted by some of the most beautiful, cleverly crafted, and unique experiences that surprised us throughout the year, while you may have experienced some of the games yourselves, we have listed down what we think are the top games of last year and help you relive those moments again

Cyberpunk 2077
Available on – PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, XBOX Series X/S

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour, and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset, and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the best video games ever. Its launch has been one of the worst. This was the most anticipated game of 2020. And now, even all the histrionics that have surrounded its eight-year development — the multiple delays, the polarizing media coverage, the intense work schedule, the Twitter melodrama, the problems even playing it — cannot obscure the fact that Cyberpunk has immediately become one of the most important games in the industry and will remain so for years to come.

The real problem is on consoles. CD Projekt Red was irresponsible in releasing console versions in their current state.

In truth, Cyberpunk is probably going to become a reference for the game industry for at least several years, precisely because it is so demanding and delivers spectacular entertainment when it is running well.

it deserves to be the best game of 2020 because it has high graphics and a strong story.

Last of us Part 2

last of us 2
Available on – PS4, PS5

The Last of Us 2 starts as a revenge story but spends an exhausting 24 hours of gameplay trying to convince us that this is not supposed to be fun. Joel killed Abby’s father at the end of the first game, and then we’re asked to play as Abby for the second half of this one. Last of Us 2 is her revenge story in equal measure. These shocking, broad strokes were the focus of a devastating batch of leaks that surfaced in April. At face value, it seems infuriating: A total stranger kills our hero from the first game, and then we’re supposed to play as her for 12 hours!?

Those seemingly divisive narrative choices produce a brilliant result. Even if the parallels drawn between these characters are about as subtle as Abby’s 7-iron, they’re still artfully done.

The Last of Us Part II has been nominated for Game of the Year in a very competitive category.it deserves that, it has a great conversation between the characters.

Ghosts of Tsushima click here to read the review

ghosts of tushima
Available on PS4, PS5

Ghost of Tsushima, it’s the sheer beauty of the game. Yes, combat is fun, the story is solid, the graphics are beautiful.

In 1274, a Mongolian invasion fleet led by Khotun Khan lands on the Japanese island of Tsushima. … Destitute and starving, Ryuzo and the Straw Hats betray Jin to collect the bounty issued on his head by the Mongols, but Jin manages to fend them off, free Lord Shimura, and retake Kaneda Castle. it deserves a slot in the top games of 2020 because it’s a beautiful and compelling world to explore, Combat and exploration are both rewarding and satisfying.

Resident Evil 3

Available on – Xbox One, PS4

Resident Evil 3 doesn’t let up from there. It’s a much faster-paced game than Resident Evil 2, with a greater emphasis on action and far less focus on puzzle-solving or exploration. Ammo is in more plentiful supply, and the environments aren’t particularly creepy. Resident Evil 3 sees the return of original Resident Evil protagonist Jill Valentine in a story that plays out at the same time as Resident Evil 2. The PlayStation release was called Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, a reference to the iconic, unstoppable creature that pursues Jill throughout the game as she attempts to escape Raccoon City. That’s very much still the defining feature of the latest version’s plot. it deserves to be one of the top games of 2020 because the game was a bit easier outside of Nemesis. After all, the player found more ammo and health and had access to big weapons much earlier on. The remake looks to be doing the same thing, but with more success.

Call of Duty: Warzone

Available on – PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, XBOX Series X/S

A 100 player, free-to-play battle royale set in the Call of Duty universe that’s part of a larger meta-narrative.Call of Duty came into the battle royale battle late, but it spent time taking notes, dropping in with the best features of all the greats that came before it. You’ve got vehicles, a fairly extensive ping system, an overwhelming abundance of weapons, and the chance to return from the dead by winning a 1v1 gulag face-off. All that’s wrapped up in the often hyper-realistic, sometimes anachronistically absurd world of Call of Duty.

PS5 DualSense controller lets you ‘feel’ video games, you can feel the vibration of the weapon like you are a real soldier.

it deserves to be one of the top games of 2020 because its graphics make the game so realistic.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales click here to read the review

Available on – PS4, PS5

Aside from being an incredibly vivid virtual tour of New York City during the holidays, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a blast of a game; succinct, but immensely satisfying and packed with heart. Everything you do feels intuitive, from swinging around buildings to beating up goons, but as you get better and unlock new skills, the challenge evolves with you so that the action never feels mindless. In-between the fluid, seamless rooftop traversal and fighting are tender scenes of Christmas dinner, complicated relationships, and newfound responsibility.

it deserves a slot in the list of the top games of 2020, it has an Entertaining Story, improved and expanded combat mechanics, and  Beautiful Graphics.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla click here to read the review

Available on – PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, XBOX Series X/S

You play as Eivor – who can be male or female – who is a fantastic addition to Assassin’s Creed canon, who only emphasizes this new stronger, bolder direction for the series. It’s a bloody success on all fronts.

Valhalla is the latest addition to the Assassin’s Creed series, and there are a lot of things it does better than the other games. Few franchises have seen as many changes and distinct themes as Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed. Each game very much does its own thing; bound mainly through their action-stealth qualities and historical-fiction settings. Because of this, every game in the series tends to excel and stand out in different ways. Some are certainly more successful than others when it comes to motifs and gameplay. And while it has its share of weak points, the latest Viking-tinged rendition, Valhalla, is largely considered to be one of the best in the franchise.

The game’s excellent combat system makes these moments a joy to play, and the new combat abilities you’ll unlock on these raids make them a worthwhile distraction from the game’s main storyline. Graphically, Valhalla is the prettiest game in the series.

it deserves to be one of the best games last year, it has an excellent storyline and everyone liked the evolution of the graphics in the assassin’s creed series.
