Swarm the City – An Apolocyptic Game A Quick Preview

Storyline

Swarm the City is about infecting humans and growing the zombie army. With a large number of zombie soldiers at hand and a good strategy, you can easily swarm human cities. Thousands of years ago, Karr the Great brought catastrophe to the land, turning it into a post-apocalyptic world. Half of the human beings were turned into zombies to strengthen his army. But in the end, his invasion failed. He was defeated by humans and got sealed under the base of St. Maria Church. A few hundreds of years later, wars of land fighting by humans burned the church to ashes. The new king of the land didn’t know the history. Everyone thought the zombie lord was merely a legend. People started to build new taverns until they finally forgot about this dark taboo. In the year 1949, workers of Fortin found a dark sarcophagus. They broke the tomb attached with magic stones, wishing for treasures, without knowing that an ancient lord of death has awakened and will rule this world again.

Swarm the City is a casual strategy zombie game in which human beings have caused a catastrophe on Earth by destroying the environment from the process of industrialization. As a zombie king in Swarm the City, you will use your zombie army to infect human beings, infiltrate and attack human cities. Dr Z created a virus to convert humans into zombies and then attack some villages with the zombie army. Soon after DR. Z planned to infect the town with the help of his zombie army. Soon after the zombie army starts moving towards the city Cities usually have better security cover than villages. The zombies aim to destroy the government and police to take control of the city.

Gameplay

There are more than 20 unique cities in the game. Each has a large number of citizens, health systems, technology centers, and police forces that all work under certain rules. Observe and understand the differences among them. Find their weaknesses, make the best strategy, and infiltrate their cities until they are fully dominated.

Humans have powerful technology to develop diversified defense systems, strong soldiers, and even mechanical BOSS. But zombies can devour human’s life spirit to evolve or mutate. Choose their evolving direction and use their different abilities to fight back against humans.

Controls and Gameplay tricks

Do Hold off on striking the first few humans. The game doesn’t tell you this, but the longer you wait before dealing damage to the first human, the more time you receive to prepare your defenses and manufacture Sun. Delay the humans with defenders like Walnut as you mass-produce resources, and only attack once you’ve built up a better reservoir. Don’t Immediately attack the first zombies. Those extra ten or twenty seconds go a long way towards preparing your Sun for the entire level.

The gameplay controls are basic and easy to understand, but it also provides the ability to customize the controls as you please, but the game tips and instructions are something some more work.

Graphics

The graphics of this game are not 3D heavy, in fact, Swarm the City is a 2D graphics game, The Wide-angle environments and the Cinematic Bird’s eye View injects a Sense of scale into the player and the Map details seem fewer than some of the counterparts in this field

Our Thoughts

Swarm the city has a unconventional storyline and this actually works in its favour as the game is able to provide a unique experience to the players, however the Presentation of th game in ters of Graphics and gameplays could have been refined a bit, but nevertless this is a solid attempt by Seasun Games to deliver unique take on Zombie acoplyse.
